"Our Impact" map displays the biopharmaceutical industry's positive impact in the U.S. by providing jobs, economic impact & clinical trial data. However, the economic footprint of the biopharmaceutical industry can be measured not only by the traditional indicators of employment and output, but also in part by its impact on the vendors, large and small, that provide services or supplies to America’s biopharmaceutical research companies.

To provide insight into the breadth and depth of the industry’s direct impact in the form of business relationships with these companies, We Work For Health gathered 2018 vendor and supplier expenditure data from 16 biopharmaceutical companies in 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
