On May 9, 2011, Hoosiers Work for Health held a panel discussion with U.S. Representative Todd Young (IN-09) at Purdue Technology Center of Southeast Indiana in New Albany to discuss the importance of the life sciences on the Indiana economy. The event was held in collaboration with the Purdue University Research Foundation.

The panel discussion and Q & A session was moderated by Roger Harvey of Hoosiers Work for Health. After the event, participants and panelists toured the offices of IKOTECH, a local life science company.
