The forum presentation included a thorough discussion of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval process and an overview of the importance of the Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA). HWFH also emphasized to the audience how innovation plays a critical role in both patient health and also in growing the Indiana life sciences economy.
Attendees included patient organizations, company representatives, and economic development and chamber organizations. After the briefing, a question and answer session occurred on a variety of health care topics.
