Life Sciences Day at the Statehouse

On February 16, 2012, Hoosiers Work for Health served as a gold sponsor and participated in the inaugural Life Sciences Day at the Statehouse that featured key legislative leaders providing a life sciences briefing, followed by a vendor exhibit and luncheon. In addition to Hoosiers Work for Health, sponsors included Eli Lilly and Company, Indiana Health Industry Forum, Roche, and Cook Medical.

FDA 101 Overview

On August 3, 2011, Hoosiers Work for Health and its valued partners participated in an educational meeting in Indianapolis. The FDA 101 Overview allowed partners to learn about and discuss important federal issues that will impact the life sciences industry.
On July 19, 2011, Hoosiers Work for Health held a panel discussion with U.S. Representative Marlin Stutzman (IN-03) at the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne to discuss the importance of the life sciences on the Indiana economy.
Hoosiers Work For Health held a panel discussion with U.S. Representative Todd Young (IN-09) at Purdue Technology Center of Southeast Indiana in New Albany to discuss the importance of the life sciences on the Indiana economy. The event was held in collaboration with the Purdue University Research Foundation.
