The mission of We Work For Health is to educate company employees about the important contributions the biopharmaceutical industry makes to society and to the quality of life for all people.
Together, the biopharmaceutical industry improves the healthcare system by bringing to market the best possible medicines and therapies. We believe that uniting as an industry to generate awareness of the role we play in America’s health care can only increase our ability to bring life improving products to all patients in need.
As a member of We Work For Health, I pledge to:
- Commit to my health and that of my community and will promote healthy lifestyle choices that help fight chronic disease.
- Speak to the challenges our industry faces and help educate friends and family members about my dedication to safe and innovative medicines.
- Help patients in need by participating in industry efforts to make medicine more affordable and promoting the use of public insurance programs.
- Support efforts of our industry to invest the resources necessary to be at the cutting edge of research and development.
- Be a good corporate citizen by becoming an educated voter and by communicating with my elected officials.
- Seek out opportunities to represent my industry in community service at a local and global level.
